3 year old hen is lethargic, won't eat. I gave her an Epsom soak, electrolytes & "fire" water. She just pooped and it looks like a tiny lash egg came out w the poop? Can this happen? How should I treat?

It does look like lash material, and the urates, which are normally white kidney waste, are yellow which may be a sign of a reproductive disorder. Do you see one of the hens with her tail down, looking a bit lethargic or separating herself? Lash eggs are due to salpingitis, inflammation of the oviduct.

She is still lethargic. Not necessarily tail down but watery poop that is dark green. I gave some antibiotics (amoxicillin) yesterday with no real improvement. She's not eating or walking much.

If you see any more lash material, I would cut it open. Can you bring her out with the other chickens for some company? Stay with her to make sure that no one picks on her and offer the whole flock some scrambled egg and a little wet chicken feed. That might get her eating. If ahe needs to be separated, she should be close to the flock so that she can see them. I usually leave my sick chickens with their flock as long as they are not being pecked. Some probiotics or plain yogurt with live cultures may be in order as long as she is on the amoxicillin.
