Would anyone be interested in a Christmas Ornament swap?

I'm so glad there is some interest in this!! What if we did the swap for a couple of months and everyone could sign up once or twice for that month? That way we aren't overwhelmed with making a large amount and don't have to worry about shipping alot of ornaments. We could start next month. I like the idea of working in a theme, I could work something in about my state but I don't know if everyone else could. Any suggestions about a theme? Any ideas about how we could work this swap, would it be better do it to for a few months rather than one big swap? Give me some feedback and we can get this offically started!!

I did this once before, and everyone was paired with another person.

That was easier than trying to ship 50 ornaments! If you made anything a little heavy that would get real expensive really fast.

Plus, straight swapping gets the organizer out of the middle.


Anyway, count me in!

This would be fun! I made egg ornaments that were discussed here last year and gave them as Christmas gifts, they were the biggest hit!

I don't want to take this away from this site, but I've done several swaps using www.elfster.com

Some other sites I'm on use this one a lot. Interested members would let you know here then you send them an invitation to join. The site does most of the work for you. You decide on last day to join and it randomly picks you gets who.

90% chance the person I get will get a beading ornament. Seems to be what I've swapped the past few years.

I love homemade ornaments and gifts.
