Would Anyone Be Interested In This?

Hello lovely chicken enthusiasts! I have an idea I would desperately love input on, but first I will give you some background about myself. My name is Ella and I am a college student who grew up with chickens and have loved them/been obsessed ever since. I've done everything from hatch my own eggs, bought from local hatcheries, and even worked as a farm hand for a small town no-ship chick breeder. I love chickens and their silly little personalities. I also think raising them gives us a better connection to where we are sourcing our food. I am a hobby farmer and have only raised for eggs/pet purposes. Being in college has me thinking though, would anyone else find it helpful to have an app with a ton of chicken related knowledge/ reminders built in and a place to log info about your specific flock? I have been toying with the idea of trying to create one, but wanted to know if anyone else would be interested in this or find it helpful. Please let me know, and if this would be of interest let me know some things that could be helpful to include! Thank you so much!

I usually just make mental notes and if I must make notes I prefer to just use my usual note taking app. As a bit of a tech nerd, I only like to have an app for something if I must, not everything needs to have an app. I'm sure there are people who would like an app like that, but I personally have no need

Such great feedback. I was wondering if this would be most people's take on something like this. Especially because I feel like part of the joy in chicken keeping is that it's grounding and unplugged. Thank you so much!

Welcome! Sounds like a great idea for people who like apps. I'm more old school and also a little more free-form about it - other than noted the chickens ages in my calendar (so I know when they might start laying) I don't track them in any way.
