Would appreciate input on killing a baby - legs don't work

I have a pair of poultry shears that I use for bird processing. Baby guineas shouldn't be as large or tough as full grown coturnix quail and I used my shears for decapitation and all processing cuts on my last run of quail. The shears I had didn't bind or struggle with any of the cuts I made. I have the messermiester poultry shears. I didn't pay much for them from Amazon.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this yet and I do not have time to read through everything, but Carbon Monoxide gas is a pain free way to put down an animal. It is very dangerous though, it is tasteless and odorless. Not to be confused with Carbon Dioxide which will burn your lungs and suffocate you to death. The lungs have no reaction to Carbon Monoxide which is what makes it so deadly. It kills lots of people in machine shops if a leak starts because they will not notice anything and will pass out and die from the lack of oxygen. Your lungs do not burn to tell you to breath because they don't have oxygen, carbon dioxide is what makes your lungs burn.

Of course there are other methods that are much easier but not necessarily pain free, I personally just use the axe...

Is this like the starter fluid method?
