Curious, I've seen my chickens eat from the stump of an old willow tree, and just curious if they are eating crickets, or would they eat them?

The only bug/crawly thing I have seen my chickens avoid is snails, slugs and pillbugs or sowbugs. I don't think they would pass up termites!

I've heard they do, but I can't say for sure.

Mine eat miner bees from their holes, ants at their nest, and I've seen them snap mosquitos out of the air, so I'd guess they would!

Some Chickens love termites. Some love Pill Bugs, Crickets, bettles, and just anything else that moves.

The more birds you have, the more chance that at least 1 will eat whatever bug/etc that you find. I even have 2 ladies that love those nasty slugs.

YES! They love them. We go around cutting pines down on our property and we will leave them to dry so we can pile up a huge bon fire. Termites invade them by the bizillions and I will peel off some of the wood and my chicks will go nuts!

We were cleaning up an old wood pile, and they chickens were just waiting for us to lift it up to eat them. They love them!
