My sister and I are going to go in together on some chicks...she wants to increase her flock and I want one of my own. However, everywhere I've searched that has the dorkings she wants has a minimum of 25 chicks. She only wants about 5 total and I won't be starting with more than a dozen. Is there anyone who knows where I can get dorking chicks or eggs (she has a few setters) where I don't have to purchase so many? I live in SE Connecticut.
