Would people please post a thread with a meaningful title?

A quick scan thru your threads shows all 'good' titles. ;)
Thanks. I try. And I will try even harder now. It really is just an afterthought sometimes.

I know there are tutorials out there for using BYC. I am wondering if this is part of one of those (honestly, I don't remember) or if it warrants a tutorial amendment...

The people that need it, do not realize they need it.

I just really don't see that it's that big of a problem. Should people get all paranoid about their past thread titles and wonder if they were good enough? It's just my opinion, but I come here in hopes that I might be able to help people, or at least offer encouragement. That's anybody and everybody. Not just those who have an adequate post title.
I get more annoyed with people who make threads, just for the sake of making threads.
Ok I'll hush now

Yup, peeps spending just a few moments more on a good title helps a ton! It allows others to more readily help them, it's better for search engines to organize the info, it's easier for our search to find and present stuff to peeps, etc. etc. etc.

...but at the end of the day, a lot of people don't go to the trouble... either because they aren't aware of the benefits, or don't care. :(
To me, it seems like, most the people posting those kinds of titles are usually new to chickens and new to asking for help. Most haven't figured out how to use the search function and are panicked to get help for their beloved birds.
It can be pretty frustrating at times, but I find its still worth the effort to read thru a few of "those" posts, if I can point someone in the right direction, or call in the calvary if it's something really serious.
We were all newbies to chickens and this wonderful place at one time.
Everybody pray for Whirled Peas! They taste great when we're biting into them, instead of biting into
each other!
