Would these holes need to be covered for a duck house?

I know for certain it would be too drafty for the chickens. I am thinking of hw cloth as the holes are at least 1" with a temporary cover that could be removed to allow air flow in the warmer months?
It is a repurposed child's playhouse.

Are you talking about the holes in the first pic, or the windows? Nice ventilation in the roof!

Seriously, with the structure being small and plastic, you need to pay extra close attention to ventilation. What is the s.f. of the structure? You will need at least 1 s.f.of ventilation/bird. Visit the duck forum to see how many s.f./duck are recommended for coop size.

Holes in the first pic, it sits under a window. The other windows have been covered already. It does have a roof, just not shown in this pic. I set the roof up as high as it would go to allow ventilation at the top. So, it stretches across the top on both sides. If needed, I have other ideas for venting.
It is actually 4x4. Bigger than most playhouses. I posted this in the duck forum. ;)
So, what are your thoughts on the holes in the first pic?

I don't think the holes will pose a threat in terms of drafts. The ducks will bed down in the bottom as low as they can get. Use your best judgement if you think any sort of predators can get in the holes, or rodents you don't want around. The plastic sides should be slippery for something to climb, but if you have hardware cloth or something similar on hand that would be easy to cover them, I'd just cover the holes now. One less thing to worry about when you lock them up at night.
