Okay. I have this bantam hen right and her egg is so small and so white i didn't know what to do with it. Then she went clucky. I thought bantams are known for being wonderful mothers but i was worried as she'd only been laying for a few months. I had this wonderful rooster it really was a shame he was a llight sussex standard araucana crossbred. He was huge. But anyway more to the point he'd been running with my bantam hen so when she went clucky i decided to put some of her own eggs under her, being it was her first time as a mum. Sure enough she sat on about 10 of these miniature eggs. The only sad thing was only two of them were fertile, but that was fine by me. Both chickens hatched out normal and healthy, small but healthy. They hatched on the 8th August so they're a few weeks old and growing like crazy. They're both gorgeous and fine even with hatching out of such a small egg.
