Would this dog kennel work for 6-8 chickens?

I have a 10x10 plus a 10x30 that I use with my coops. Look on Craigslist to see if you can find one before buying the 10x6. I'm betting your can get one twice the size for the same amount of money if not cheaper.

I agree with Coyotemagic about looking on Craigslist first before forking over all that money!

Most people I know with chain link dog kennels cover the bottom 2' with welded wire or hardware cloth for reinforcement against the little grabby paws of the raccons! Also, definetely need a secure cover for the roof/top - wood frame with 2x4 welded wire, plywood or plastic roofing panels attached. Keep us posted on what you come up with!

I'm using my old dog lot and cover with it with chicken wire as a temp while my little fellas are small..then build my lot the size I need for my little 25 chicks later....
