Would today be Day 4 or Day 5?

I set my eggs Friday morning at 9am. (January 27)

So, was Friday Day 1 ? And then Saturday the beginning of Day 2? And, Sunday Day 3?...Monday Day 4? And today, Tuesday, Day 5?
I really need to figure this out so I know when to do lockdown-LOL!

I've penciled this onto my hatch calendar and then erased and changed it and now I'm just not sure anymore. I confused myself somehow! Please someone set me straight.

feb 16th would be hatch day (ei thats my birthday lol) so lockdown would be on the 13th, or you can wait an extra day and go into lockdown on the 14th. some people dont go into lockdown until they have a pip

Eggs set on a Friday morning are expected to hatch on the third Friday morning following. Lockdown Tuesday morning the 14th.

when setting eggs in the early hours such as 9 am you would count that as day 1 if you set in the late afternoon hours such as 6 pm then the following day would be day 1

early setting:

friday @ 9 am = day 1
sat @ 9 am = day 2
sun @ 9 am = day 3
ect

late setting:

friday @ 6 pm = day 0
sat @ 6 pm = day 1
sun. @ 6 pm = day 2
ect

dbcooper explained it best. Your eggs should hatch about 9 AM the 17th of Feb. Day one is not compleat untill 9 AM Saturday the 28th. The 21st day (24 hour period) will be compleat at 9 AM 17 Feb.
