Would you complain?

I wouldnt of dropped the complaint. You got screwed by this person and Paypal should make it right. I had that happen to me when I ordered something and never got it. I got my money back because the seller refused to respond.

I can't find it to have a look!
Click on the person's avatar and there is a link on the little window that pops up.

And daniduck was WAY nicer in that review than was deserved..... @daniduck, if you can edit it, I would make it much worse. Right now it reads as lukewarm when considering the stuff you told us here in this thread.
I agree. I have been trying to encourage Daniduck via PM to edit her review to expand on it and ideally post a link to this thread in the review so that others can view the full circumstances but it seems that is not allowed unless the seller has participated in this thread, which they are clearly not going to do as they will have to publically identify themselves in order to do so. I do feel very strongly that this person should be publically identified to protect the community as a whole, but I also respect forum rules and I am still trying to figure out a way round this. I am toying with calling out the seller on some of their threads and linking this thread on their selling threads.

If the seller is following this thread, we would be interested in reading your side of this and seeing photos of your breeding stock and set up (breeding pens etc), which, as a genuine breeder, you should be proud to advertise and display. Sending photos to the buyer via private PM smacks to me of those photos not being of your breeding stock, otherwise why not download them on the public thread where you are advertising your hatching eggs. Blue Laced Reds are stunning birds and I am sure any photos you have of them would be very helpful in selling your eggs, so it just doesn't make sense to send photos via PM and not display them in the public hatching eggs advert....unless you were using photos of someone else's birds.
I am trying to maintain an open mind on this and prepared listen to your side if you would like to explain but there are a lot of factors which make your transaction look very dodgey from the information we have at the moment.

Agree... especially since their advert in the buy/sell section has no pics at all. I was curious what her birds looked like.

@cooleo Has not been on since the complaint was filed against them.

Thank you! You beat me to it. They don't need to be shamed or anything but I'd like to know who I could possibly be doing business with. I don't believe their identity should be "protected" under the rules. This was a blatant lie.

This was an obvious breeder error and it's startling to see their inability to own up to the situation. In my opinion there shouldn't be any place for that in this community. ANY honest person would have apologized and worked to make things right for you.

I looked at their profile a bit and mostly all I saw was posts about selling eggs.
Its just a pet peeve red flag for me not to deal with anyone on here that just seems to be here for sells.
I feel a lot better about dealing with someone that also participates in sharing info or helping others. You know actively being a part of the community instead of just coming here for a free place to advertise.
