So, seems like it may not happen. I'll give another week....It's almost August so,

If it's cancelled, start a thread on "Show off your canning best." We don't really need a contest, just place for people to show the fruits of their labor (and their gardens) and inspire the rest of us wannabes to try harder!

I love the baking contest and I'm sure I have things to enter in the preserving one. Not sure about fair food though, haha. I'll have to look. I can definitely enter something in all 3.

Did a decision ever get made on this?

The three food contests for this year's Fair have been cancelled and will not be part of the Fair, but we are going to do a "Memories of Summer" random draw contest starting September 1st.

We're still undecided on whether or not we'll do the canning & baking contests this fall.
