Here’s a thought: bring back the contests but combine them all into one big contest.
Some of this year's Fair Contests are combined. As far as what was once separate contests, what has happened in the past is there will be "categories" if enough entries warrant. So if we get a lot of entries for each of the categories, they might be separated in the Winners Announcement (though not a guarantee).

Here is an example of this from the 2022 Molt Contest. There was enough entries of both Frizzled and Non-Frizzled chickens to have them in two separate categories:

Could anything be more satisfying than opening up the pantry and finding a summer’s worth of canned or preserved produce? Beautiful jars of jams, jellies, fruit, or vegetables. How about a big glass jar of pickled eggs or dills? Or maybe making fruit leather or jerky is more your jam.

There’s nothing like a fried Oreo or a jumbo plate of loaded nachos to enjoy the fair to the utmost! When the fair comes to town, diets and self control go out the window…one of the best parts of the fair is the food vendors.

Who can whip up their favorite fair food? Fried butter anyone? Funnel cakes, fry bread or giant turkey drumsticks? Let’s see what you can make for the fair!

You 17 said that you would enter. I'm going to redo the poll. Can you vote again? Included in this post are the details of each contest, so please read the rules of each and vote accordingly.

Evadig, GodLovesU, Golden Comet Mama, you three voted no.

I’ve never canned anything before (I’m guessing pickling doesn’t count?) but I love baking. This was my first attempt at making zucchini bread, it was so good!

What about instead of canning there was something like preserving? That way pickling, drying, freeze drying, etc could enter as well making it more accessible to people
It's called the "Canning & Preserving Show", all those are allowed..
