That just gave me a funny idea. A single contest focusing on Halloween food AND Christmas food. In each entry, give one reason why you think Halloween is better than Christmas, or vice versa.

Personally I like both, but if I had to make a choice, I would choose Halloween because in my mind it gives me the opportunity to remember the spirits of those who went before us.

So, seems like it may not happen. I'll give another week....It's almost August so,

CC,,, Reason I did not vote to enter, is simple. It is summer, and hot where I'm at. Not baking anything until things cool down some.
Yes,, I do have a lot of pictures,, but I don't feel using older/past photos would be fair for a NEW CONTEST.
I would only enter the Baking contest. I do not do any canning, or make any kind of Fair food.
The last contest,, Well,,, I did not win,, but that doesn't matter to me. I did get a lot of LIKES on my Postings.

Do the pictures have to be from things baked/made just for this contest? Because I now do not have a kitchen I have pictures from older things I’ve baked though! I would enter those if that’s fine.

If it's cancelled, start a thread on "Show off your canning best." We don't really need a contest, just place for people to show the fruits of their labor (and their gardens) and inspire the rest of us wannabes to try harder!
