I think they are large fowl.. but i am not sure as the ones i was looking at where still younger. They are going to start their owne little "hatchery" type thing. But it wont be huge like Cackle Hatchery. And you can be sure i will be buying from them instead of other hatcheries sence i have seen what they have and let me just say they all look pretty "pure" to me
He is bringing some Marans to me the next time he comes down but once they start selling Araucana eggs, chicks, and older birds i wil be getting some.
They actually breed tufted to tufted there. They sell all birds who do not come to their requirements. And the lady who ownes this place actually ownes Grocery stores all over the place. Chickens are just her Hobbie but she Provides eggs to her grocery stores and Pure bred chickens is what she looks out for.
A friend of mine keeps telling me that I'm going to have to get rid of my araucanas so that I can devote more attention to breeding Marans. I just smile sweetly and tell her that the Marans would go first.
