Would you recommend buying hatching eggs from eBay?

I’m considering buying hatching eggs from eBay, is it worth?

Because I'm paranoid about biosecurity, I wouldn't. Mycoplasma can be present in eggs from infected hens, and could wipe out your flock.
Also, transported eggs have poor hatchability, so that's a problem too.
Maybe from a very trusted source, and nobody else.

No, the chicks might not be very good, I would recommend getting them from tractor supply (if they have them) or a nearby store that you might know of that would have them
or, you could consider sexing one of your chickens I think that would be the best and the healthiest, but if its the easiest way to get them off eBay it wouldn't hurt to try it....

Another thing with EBAY is that it seems a lot of people haven't gotten the breeds that the eggs were advertised as.

Breeding would have worked. Sexing is when you look at a chick to tell if it's male or female
