I think that my chickens would panic the moment they were put inside.

I'm also sure that there would be foot feathers ripped off as they caught in the wires.

Pretty sure mine would just sit there like "?!?!?!?!".

I can't imagine getting mine into it - they'd panic and flap around, probably injure themselves at that point.

Are they intended to be for exercise, like a hamster wheel? To protect from predators while free ranging?? Or just cute and funny? A fail on all IMO. Doesn't seem like they'd allow natural scratching and movement - a terrible life for a chicken!

Honestly, I don't know how you could bring it up diplomatically and effectively to someone who's easily offended. Maybe just ask questions and hope she figures it out in the process.

It looks like a torture device - makes me shudder!

Update she has bought new toys that they can play with but she did have a chicken injured so I helped her take care of it....and she wont be using them again yay mission accomplished thank you everyone for advice mostly @Weeg. That was good thinking

I'm glad that she learned her lesson. Sadly the hard way, but at least it didn't result in death by predator attack, or panic.
Out of curiosity, how badly injured is this chicken/what injuries?

Not terrible its foot was just skinned u. Could have been alot worse
