A friend of mine is an OB/GYN who specializes in womens' disease and high risk pregnancy....the last time I asked him about it (back in 2006), he was paying 240,000.00 per year just for his malpractice insurance...not to mention another 60,000.00 per year for liability insurance, then there was premises insurance on his office, WC for his employees and on and on. They have to worry about the money end of it too or they would never get there college paid for. It is ridiculous.
