He looks beautiful. Try finding him a nice wife on craig's list or search on google in your area. You can also check with bird/poultry auctions or bird swaps.
 
Technically, I'm not zoned for peas. I'm in Sacramento. He just showed up one day and stayed. He sits all day on my porch and roosts in one of my oaks at night. He isn't a pet and I doubt my neighbors would appreciate me adding to his not-so-city voice. I just allow him to feel safe. I kinda hope for his sake another pea happens along.

That is what I was thinking too that he probably just shed, although the wings look strange, like they have been cut so someone or something probably did get a hold of him.

Wow i didnt even notice the wings. Your right it does look like something got ahold of him. Most likely couldn't even fly at the time.
