Wow! Finally some common sense with the bears!

I saw the same article in my paper. Here's a quote that I thought was great.
Witnesses for the state testified that she had been warned to stop feeding the bears as early as 2003 but refused to listen.

Noyes insisted she had never been warned.

"He is convinced I was," Noyes told The Oregonian newspaper. "None of my neighbors ever warned me. Not once. That is the truth. He has his mind made up that what Fish and Game said was true."

Not to start up the whole stupid vs. ignorant thing again, but really. Even if this was true, which I doubt, is it her neighbors' duty to warn her? Too bad the bears didn't get her instead of the neighbor's turkeys.

So, it NEVER occurred to her that it might be a bad idea to feed super-sized predators in her back yard? What IS the matter with people?

HA-Hah!!! She got "relocated"!!!! She can't go near the entire area for three years. They should put a big ol' yellow numbered tracking collar on her with a radar antenna too!

This is why relocation is such a bad idea. Now she's in another neighborhood feeding bears and making trouble. She should have just been dispatched.

Maybe we should send her "on assignment" to finish out that documentary on Living With Grizzlies or whatever that was they guy never got to finish, for most unfortunate but predictable reasons.
