I have been thinking for a while now that my chickens were older like 7 mo. lol. I found a pic I put on my face book that shows my turkey (rip ) who was got with them and the date is 5/1 he is about a week old. We miss our turkey so much. Anyway. Will I need to put a light in the hen house to make them lay before it becomes spring ? I am going to put one anyhow in for heat. But I was just wondering if they would start to lay in winter or wait ? I have doms RIR sex link golden commet have 2 golden commet hens that lay everyday since I got them. ( well one does the other hasn't laied in mo.
