wow my 17 week polish just laid a fairy egg!

I got one like her ...not sure if that egg is from her, it may just remain a mystery, anywho you'll have many eggs from her in the future!!!

those polish certainly are different. very flighty and I thought my little d'uccles were flighty. Funny thing is the Leghorn was really babied as a chick and if you go in you are likely to get her on your shoulder. LOL but the polish make a mad dash for it, even though they are held and cuddled everyday. They became BFF's with the biggest hen in the flock, Queen Latifah (australorp) and they hang out together. If she's busy laying, they find Wynona (wyandotte) and follow her around. Now my boy polish has gotten his frazzly topknot all dirty. I'll consult my chicken guru and find out if I can leave it dirty or if I gotta clean it up.
