Day 8 I realized it was the infection coming back and not just scab. I cut it out again and hoping for the best

Day 11 looks good I guess except for this abscess developing above his spur



Maybe a secondary infection..? I've seen this when my cat cut his leg bad and developed an abscess in his armpit

I was taught to leave an abscess alone it will purge itself eventually. then you clean it with epsom salts...

Its a sign that some infection spread from the original site.
