Thanks both Chloe and Momma (her Momma) don't lay a very dark egg. But Chloe is gorgeous and I need to hatch more from Momma. I'll work on her egg color. I'll find a couple pics of her normal color. But it's not unusual for my flock to start out light, then get darker, level off, and then lighten the further into laying season. Rinse and repeat....That's cool! It's so odd they can change their color so much.
Is there anything you can feed the chickens to impact egg color?
