I have one light Brahama she never grew to the size I was expecting but I guess that’s common for hatchery lines. She’s not any bigger than my Wyandottes. She’s well suited for the cold winters. Doing better than my single combed birds.

My head hen is a light brahma and one of the first chickens I got, she'll be 5yrs old in July. She's around 10lbs, is a brute of a ruler, but a sweet lady.

I'm thinking about getting a couple darks for the mixed coop but that Dark Brahma rooster color is stunning. So there's that dilemma....

I think @2ndTink needs to build just as many coops as I do with all the breeds she's getting this year.
