The 'mottled' girl is a mutation, if you get one of those it would be pretty rare but not impossible. Both girls that showed up mottled started out black silver and then started developing more and more white feathers.

Are the Blue Silvers noticable at hatch compared to the Black Silvers? Or does it take longer after they dry off and fluff up? I'm new here to these..... you know

The blue silvers are varying shades of slate grey with identical markings to the black silver.

Decided to get the little one out before as it was bouncing eggs all over. The wife even gave up one of her prized 'eeyore' stuffies and put a mirror in.

Last time I went in she had chicks chirping from her phone to keep little 'Solo' company...

Unless it's a very dark grayish blue, you look to have a black silver

Took 'Solo' out to Raven last night. Checked at first light this morning with a flashlight, waited for both little ones to peek out and her to acknowledge it.
