Its been a day, but I still feel so bad about the way I acted. I feel horrible about what I said to my friends. I mean, theyre my friends, and I love them, but my mind got the best of me, and I over-reacted.
I probably should apologize to Onyx, especially. He was trying to help me and I was rude, but Im afraid that he will be mad at me.
I dont know what Im supposed to do now, but I have to think of something quick. The worst thing that could possibly happen is that they will still be angry at me. Im sorry! I really am!
I feel like I need to do something, so I slowly make my way out of the coop. I find my friends pecking about without me.

Its fine. Thats how we all are when we lay eggs, she says.

Im still a bit worried, though, because Onyx hasnt said anything. Maybe he doesnt forgive me! What if he doesnt?
Onyx? I say meekly.
What? he snaps.
Look, Im really sorry. I didnt mean to make you mad or hurt your feelings, I explain softly.

What? I cluck.
Never mind, he says.
All of a sudden, Lilly screams
Group hug!
We all huddle in with each other and give each other giant hugs. Im so relieved. They all seem to forgive me now! Even Onyx gives me a hug!
We are all laughing and talking when Flower comes over. Oh no! What did I do to deserve this? Oh yeah. Never mind.
What do you want? I instantly snap.
Nothing, but to harass you, she says, rolling her eyes.
Seriously, Daisy responds.
No, really, Flower snarls, Youre old enough to get Jaspers attention, with your egg laying and all. Im going to give you one fair warning, and one only. Stay away from him. Hes mine, you hear?

Look! He has been showing interest in you and you know it. Just stay away, she growled. She lunged forward and ripped one of my feathers out of my back.
Leave me alone! I cluck angrily.
Make me, she challenges.
Here we go again. I roll my eyes and lower my head. She lowers her head to stare me in the eyes.
Clouds, dont do it, I hear Prim warning,
I dont listen. Im not one for listening. Plus, I wasnt going to let Flower get away with calling me out like that.
Cloudy! Onyx clucks.
Come on, Clouds! Stop it, Daisy says firmly.
Again, I dont listen. I lunge at Flower and go at her with my claws. I miss and tumble on the ground. She pins me there and I struggle to break free.
Let me go! I shriek.
Youre not getting away this time, Fluffy, she snarls.
Aiming for my face, she lines up her beak and gets ready to peck me
Hard.
Let me go now! I yell.
She shakes her head and I make a split-second decision to try and roll away. I swerve to the side and Flower makes an attempt to block me.
Not this time, she says.
I need to get away. Who knows what would happen if I cant?
