He is screaming up a storm, but I just discovered him as a wrong way pip, how does this membrane look to you?

Awesome, thanks for the link. He pipped sometime around 430-5pm I think. I noticed some egg shells in the bottom at 5ish but didn't make the connection until almost 10pm. I turned him around then. He is still breathing and seems like he is trying to get the job done, but nothing substantial toward zipping yet. I will most definately look at the link and wait and see. Hopefully he makes it out ok.

What time is it by you now? (Sorry I'm outside the US)

So it's been around 8-9 hours since you saw the pip? If he's o.k. in there, leave him until the morning and check on him again. Malpositioned pipes usually need around 6-7 hours extra hatch time, because they skipped the internal (into the air cell) stage, so try and wait as long as possible before assisting. As long as the little one is lively and can breathe in there, it will be fine.

humidity is at 65 percent at this moment, but I added a little water to the paper towel to boost it back up to 70ish. He seems to be doing ok, I am just worried about him getting exhausted since he has to go through membrane and shell all the way around. Managing fairly well in resisting helping unless I really need to.
