Wry Neck 6-month old

Chicken constantly pulls her head under her body, and walks backwards till she hits something and can prop her head back up. this happens all the time inside of the house (seperated from rest of flock). My question is, when we place her outside for some fresh air she's fine, its not till we grab her, and stick her in her isolated cage were she tucks her head under, and backs up. Any ideas why she's fine outside, but experiences the wry neck symtoms indoors? FYI: She's on vitamins, Vit E, and Prednison.
