Wry Neck - Confused about treatment

Pics
I'm a little confused. Did you read my comments regarding the light in her eyes? Is it good she reacted to the light? Are her pupils suppose to be small? The fact she didn't dilate those pupils with the light is that ok?? I couldn't find her poo in those pictures although the colour was their- baby brown but they are hard and can literally roll off the towel..
I've been giving her Tylan antibiotics but its a powder not injectable. Ill keep giving it to her in her food.
It's good that she reacted to the light but the dilation concerns me. When you in the dark your pupils get Very large, when someone shines a light on it, they shrink. that's what I'm pertaining too. Does her pupils get large at all when she's in the dark and shrink when you shine the light?

And no she should dilate.. If you are giving her antibiotics in her food and she's not eating very much, she may not be getting enough in her system. How long have you been doing the antibiotics? That particular antibiotics from what I have read takes a long time. It says to administer for a month. Yek, Tylan 50 which is giving to cows, you inject 1/4 twice a day for three days and BOOM, your done, you don't need to go longer then that, it works fast and it's strong but if this is the only antibiotic that you can get your hands on, I would suggest to keep using it. It may take longer before you see results..

Did you see my pics I posted ??
I couldn't see her eyes properly in the dark room, I did it under my porch at night. The porch light was on ay be that's why she didn't dilate.. Ill try again tonight. Thanks
What do you think of her neck & poo? Did you see pics?

I've been researching again tonight, could it be a thiamine defieciency ?? Your thoughts please- if so what's best treatment? I have been giving her a little vegemite in the water. Do you think I should give more?

hum I don't think that's it, Let me contact my vet and see what he has as far as some suggestions..

I'm still not convinced her neck is right :(
Oh oh today whilst trimming her vent feathers I found a scab :( above the vent.... It has feathers within it but its a crusty scab lifting at the sides. The scab itself doesn't look bad- but I put some antiseptic powder on it anyways. She smells pretty bad at that end :( could that be a sign of illness r could it be the scab that smells. Or maybe it's just cause she sits in her secretions until I can move her and change her towel??

When I look at her apart from her being thin she looks pretty normal. Eyes are big and brown, her feathers look nice still. I even think she starting to sit better on her feet ( only a small change their)
Except- for those feathers on that left side of her neck. Still doesn't look right.
She is eating soooooo much better, still on slop lol. Every time I try to give her more of a stiff feed she struggles. If I make it sloppy she gobbles it down.....

She is very thin and still weak & I'm a little embarrassed to take her to vet. I'm sure ill get told I shouldn't have let her get so bad :( BUT I think she is slightly better... It breaks my heart to see her like this..

Please look at the pics I posted and let me know what you think.
Also how long would you keep feeding , cleaning her before you thought she wasn't going to recover?

I did see the pictures with the curved neck, my vet said to try Bayer, can you get your hands on some? It's a stronger antibotic. He said to give that a shot and see if she doesn't knock out of it. Good to hear she's eating better. The bad smell and scab. YEK. Doesn't sound good. She's going to be skins and bones for a while until she either dies or snapps out of this. The bad order and scab doesn't sound good.

I would say paralized in the neck but I would think she would just be dragging it or hanging it low. Very strange. I know one of my silkies had an S shaped neck but the Vitamin E and Polyvisol, knock it right out. So I can't understand why it's not working for your chicken unless she has something more serious going on. Which I hate to say.

Try a stronger antibotic and see if that will help at all. My hopes it will but my thoughts it probably wont. It worries me that damage has been done internally and is possible she will be shutting down soon but as long as she is still eating and drinking maybe just maybe she will snap out of it. keep up the good work.. She's been sick for sooo long, not sure how much the internal organs can take. I know I'm not sounding to hopeful and I'm sorry for that, I was really counting on her to Snap out of this by now. Honestly it's amazing she is still fighting, She sounds like a very determined silkie and with that, I say keep up the good work..

I feel bad for you because it can be a lot of work going this long and very stressful.

If she is not going to recover, her body will shut down, you may find her one morning dead. So the only thing I can say if your still willing to keep her going and she's still willing to fight, Hell keep going. If at one point you don't think she's going to make it, then it's your choice on your next move to her. She looks confortable not stressing or anything so perhaps if she doesn't recover and shuts down, she will go peacefully..

He also said Birds can live for Years with Mareks that it just depends on which organs of the body are affected and it could be Neurological Form of Mareks.
