Ive read and serched all over for a guidline disage for my 3 month old and cant find anything.... im currently giving her 50mgc selenium per day and .25 to .5 ml of poly vi sol a day. Its been a week now and its not getting better....

There is no official dosage for wry neck since it is more commonly treated by lay people who share their experiences. Most people use 400 IU of vitamin E daily, and since selenium can be overdosed, you can use a small amount of scrambled egg, tuna, or sunflower seed for selenium. Some type of wry neck is from thiamine deficiency, so good to throw in a small amount of B1 thiamine. Polyvisol without iron is used by some at 3 drops daily, but sometimes more E is needed. Since Polyvisol has other fat soluble vitamins that are not needed, we have to be careful not to use too much.

So i could do .25 mls of polyvisol, some egg and vitamin e ?

Vitamin E and B1 plus a little selenium from food is the usual treatment for wry neck. It won’t cure wry neck from an injury or Mareks, but that is how most treat it. By the way Poultry DVM is not a vet, just a website, but I am not one either. Some of their info is good, and some is incorrect.

So this chick would walkand stumble as well as spread her wings out for ballance from just 1 week old... id usually give give it yolk and it would be ok for 2-3 days then stumble again...3 weeks ago i noticed it had wry neck. we are almost on week 3 and i havent seen one ounce of improvement..... know im wondering if it has something else wrong with it because of how it would always stumble and have its legs crosed. Do wry neck chickens usualy stumble and cross there feet. This is what it looks like when i turn it over. I dont remember my first wry neck chicken doing this.

Sorry that the chick is still having probelms. It sounds like there is more going on than wry neck. Wry neck is a neurological condition, but the chick sounds as if there are other neurological problems. There might not be a lot more you can do for it. Is it able to get around and get food and water for itself?

No all ot does is lay on its side and when it stands up it backs itself into a corner sometimes flipping itself on its back.... the only way it can eat or drink is by holding it against its box and supporting its head or wrapping it in a towel...
Im not sure what to do at the point :( if i eventually get tu cure the wey neck i will have to try and deal with the stumbling and sometimes it wouldnt even get up anymore... not much of a great quality of life.... what would you do eggcessive? Should i consider culling? Would you happen to know how long it takes normally to cure wry neck?

I would have to consider culling if I had treated for 2 weeks. Most of us do not have the time required to care for a disabled chick for a long period when there may not be a good outcome. So sorry that you are having to make a hard decision. We will support you here whatever you decide to do.
