Wry neck? Help!

My 9 week on silkie "Splash" appears to have wry neck...my husband picked up some poly-vi-sol with iron...can I give him that and if so how? How often?

I'm sorry to read your dislike is suffering from wry neck

1 drop twice per day for the polyvisol but it needs to be the NON iron polyvisol. The iron can't flush through the birds body and in larger doses could poison them.

Wry neck can be caused by a vitamin E and selenium deficiency as well. I had a chick this year get wry next at a week old. I crushed 1/4 of a selenium tablet and added non iron poly-vi-sol and vitamin E oil. just mix this with her food and see if she will eat it. If not you have to give it to her by dropper. Twice a day if you can. You can also mix it with yogurt.

Thank you guys so much!! He is doing better this morning, last night I gave him egg yolks in a dropper and put some vitamin e on his beak. .I accidentally bought the wrong poly-vi-so yesterday so I have to get the right one...I am also putting save a chuck in his water

Vitamin B is also a great treatment for wry neck....it can take quite some time to treat the symptoms and get results for wry neck...the reward is in the results when they overcome the symptoms..

X2 on the time. It took my little chick a full week to start looking any better and 2 weeks for symptoms to go away entirely
