I have an 11 week old pullet that has been acting off the past few days. Yesterday I noticed a lump in her throat right under her chin. It wasn't her crop, and it felt like a large cyst. She moved very little, but did eat and drink. This morning I found her in the corner of the coop and her head was slightly sideways and slowly twitching. By the time I finished chores and cleared a spot in my utility room to bring her in, she had made it outside and was stumbling around like a drunk.
I don't know how she could have torticollis, although that's what it looks like. She is housed in my show prospect pen with her two full brothers. They have free choice Flock Raiser mixed with Manna Pro Gamebird/Showbird. They get clean water twice per day and when it is really hot I add Rooster Boost. They are on pasture the last half of the day.
I am also suspecting an internal tuft. Her grandfather was heavily tufted and triple tufted, with the third tuft located under his chin right where her swollen lump is. She is heavily tufted herself. Since the video I have trimmed her left tuft since it impedes her vision. That didn't help.
I have given her two, 1/2 teaspoon doses of Nutridrench followed by a few drops of plain water. What does this look like you guys? What else can I do for her?
