Hey so i been looking after my aunties 5 year old pekin chicken who has wry neck she has been ill just over a week and has been with me since friday. Over the weekend thought she was going to die wouldnt eat or drink even with encouragement and assistance. Sunday morning thought i was gona find her gone but she was awake alert eating drinking so few days later i see improvement every day her neck isnt as twisted either but my concern is not massive improvement i knoe these things take time but she still can walk and shuffles rolls round large cage end up on her back a lot which i have to help her get back off it.she seems happy vocal when she does try to move her head shakes like she having seizure but stops as soon as she stops moving around while she improving i dont want to cull thought id give another week or two see how she goes my concern is if she cant walk again she wont be able to go back to flock and be normal chicken....thoughts? First second pic are at the weekend 3rd pic is today also now noticed tonite when she sleeps theres a clicking/ popping noise when she breathes....so stuck what to do for the best so hard
