Thank you. That will be very helpful. She has a slight case of wry neck and she tilts her head to the right. I hope she doesn’t have any fluid in her lungs. I’ll try getting her head to tilt the other way tomorrow morning.When one of my hens was critically ill last year, my vet told me to make sure she got 100 ml of fluid every 24 hours. When I have to give water/fluid through an eyedropper, I try to get the liquid to go towards the her right side of her mouth b/c the windpipe is on her left, that could cause her to aspirate fluid if it goes down the left side. If I am holding her head, I tilt it so that the left side is up, and the water will drain down into the right side, where she can swallow it. Also I would gently rub her throat to encourage her to swallow. Good luck, it's not easy, but worth the effort.
