Wry neck?

Presumably this is not possible to treat in an adult bird, 10 months old.
Wry neck can occur in any chicken at any age, and it is always treatable. Degree of success may vary. If the condition is due to brain damage or a genetic flaw, of course the success may be limited.

Other baby chick conditions such as splay leg and curled toes do have a window of treatment, and the longer you wait to treat, the lower the rate of success.

What dose would you suggest for a quail?

Vitamin E isn't something that's toxic in small amounts for short periods. For your convenience, just pop on E 400iu directly into the quail's beak. Sometimes one is all that's needed. Do one a day until behavior is normal.

Ok I'll give it a go. Not expecting any great improvement at his age of about 10 months old. I'll probably do it in rounds, 3 days on then 3 days off; or 1 week on, then 1 week off; as he could be needing it for some time. Does that sound about right?

Sounds like a sensible approach to me. Good luck.
