Wry neck???

Is this wry neck, or some other kind of issue?? This has been going on ever since we found it.

"Found"? Did the chick just wander into the flock or was this a hatch within your flock?

The chick appears weak and disoriented. This could be caused by a pecking injury to the head or dehydration from not being able to find the water.

I would treat it with sugar water and vitamins and try to get it to drink. If after a couple hours the chick isn't improving, then start it on vitamin E 400iu.

It was a hatch within my flock. My sister found it on its back and cold. I attempted to give it water with supplements but it will not drink! Any idea on how to force feed my chick safely?

While holding the chick, use an eye dropper to place a drop at a time on its beak. The chick will work it beak to suck in the droplets. Once you see the chick developing strength, dip its beak in the water to give it the idea, and see if it will then drink on its own.

After being give sugar water and vitamins the chick still is wobbly and disoriented, it's possible it has brain damage. That's when you should start vitamin E treatment. That can produce improvement in a short time if the chick isn't permanently damaged.
