Wry neck?

Good! Hopefully she does well!

. Do you have a pic of her? How old is she again?

I think they are 16 days today. They are 4 BOs. Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia. Blanche was the first to show signs but it was a couple of days before I realized something was wrong. She was feathering out so much faster than the others that I thought she was just unbearably itchy. Really, she was not right before that, spaced out, distant from the others. I just thought it was because she's at the bottom of the pecking order. When I realized it was more of uncontrollable seizing/spasms, I got scared and started trying to figure it out. Dorothy started doing the same spaced out, looking at the floor thing, 2 days later she started the stargazing. Blanche seemed more severe at first, but Dorothy has definitely fared worse. She's a trooper. Blanche started relapsing today, but is still not as bad. This is Blanche right before it all started:

Dorothy was the Boss Lady for sure. Now she is the weakest link. They're all outgrowing her now. Look at how fat she was! LOL

This is Dorothy, today:

This is her the other night. She sleeps with me so I can keep her calm. If I leave her side she screeches incessantly:

She's really cute! They look like pretty strong chicks, so hopefully they will be okay. Even how she is now little compared, she still looks strong and healthy other than her neck.... I'm really hoping she'll be okay, because to this day I wonder how our roo lived but he did and I'm so glad he did! Hopefully it's the same story with yours. It is tough wanting to help, but knowing that you can only do so much... Well good luck and keep me posted for sure!

:hide this comment has been edited due to how ridiculously silly it was. It is not crazy chicken disease. It is likely just an ear infection

Wow! I mean there are so many weird diseases! Never heard of it though! Well maybe what you are doing right now will still help...

There are. Im not confirmed on this yet, but when I looked into it, it described 100% of their symptoms. Pretty much nailed them.

Whatever if it is dont give up on her. I had a little chick that was pecked so bad that her mama that I was sure she would die. She did not but Little One had neck issues so bad that I had to constantly flip her dragging head over and up for her. Today she is broody on the nest. She still turns her head to the side as a normal stance but that has never slowed her down. She is amazing, truly. When I found her first egg I put it in an incubator. Today I have Miracle her offspring. I never expect Little One to lay an egg let alone a fertile one!
Miracle

Miracle and Rocky

Miracle and Rocky today ( Miracle looks just like her mama but without the crooked stance)

Please help with my silkie. She twitches her head when she's tired. She eats, drinks, and is very active

Did this activity just start? I had a polish who was doing a sort of scanning weird thing but it resolved itself. I figured it may have been the result of hitting his head. If your silkie is active and taking in nutrients normally you probably should not worry but watch and see if it resolves itself as mine bird's issue did.

That is helpful thank you. I have attached a video of her doing it: http://youtu.be/G3jslUDqxNw

Hummm that is a bit different from what my much older guy was doing, a more scanning then jerking back to start point and repeat. Id do an Internet search for repeated shaking of head but Im wondering if it might have something going on with its ears? I just was in communication with a lady who helped solve an ear problem with her baby chick using antibiotics. I think Id at least start your little one on antibiotics to see if there is any improvement.
Thanks for adding the video, that is helpful.
Oh and I dont think that is wry neck so Id also post that video on Emergencies and Diseases section of BYC and ask there. Good luck and keep us posted.
