By the time I find him a companion(s) for about $2-$4 (plus gas) and feed him until I'm sure he's a he, then sell him for $5 because Nashville now has a no rooster law... I guess I'll be in the hole about $40 and 2 months of effort. Wow... I'm hatching chicks why?!?!?! Sadly, I know I'm not the only one on here cursed with this insanity. I hope DH never stops to add up all we've spent for our "free eggs"... I thinks it's several hundred dollars a dozen at this point
