My husband misses his very friendly buff orpington hens. The last one, Big Orange, died at 9 and 1/2 years of age earlier this year. I thought some new hens would be a good Christmas present for him. We do have a few other chickens but none are particularly people-friendly and he wants one or more who will run to him, talk to him, sit on his lap. Anyone? If they lay eggs, fine, but if not, well, we can provide a nice retirement home for friendly girls. Please email me. Thanks!
