Looking for a laid back, pure-blooded, female Great Pyrenees to be my flock guardian on 9 acres. Intending on getting a male later on, but contact me if you have a fantastic male that needs a home, just in case the timing/fit is right.
Must be good with children and adults, and poultry and/or goats preferred. Good with other dogs and cats, too, as I have one of each. Puppy up to six months is best, but will consider up to a year or so if he/she is well behaved.
I'm willing to drive to states surrounding North Carolina for pickup. Prefer to take in a dog from a "she's wonderful, but I'm unable to keep her, so she'll have to go to the shelter if she's not adopted" type of situation, rather than giving a ton of money to a breeder. AKC or CKC registered(-able) would be great, but not required.
