I would VERY MUCH like to work on Jersey Buff turkeys and have only successfully hatched 2 hens. They are still young around 5.5 months old but are very ready for a boy.
I would PREFER a buff turkey, but they are SO hard to find. I can also use a Bourbon Red but would be looking for a very light colored one if at all possible.
If you know of any, or can ask around I would really appreciate it! The gene pool of the Jersey Buff is very small right now, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt too much to breed a BR back in for a generation or two.
Anyway... I need a boy.. similar in age.
