EE roo that is in with my EE girls.

Young EE roo that hatched from my eggs. Hard to see. But he is very colorful.

Meanie the EE roo that is running with my layer flock. He should of hatched from a blue egg. I got him from a breeder as a chick, and all the hens I haven't gotten from them laid blue. He has basicly the same coloring as a Blue Salmon Favorelle. Oh and you can see Lydia my beautiful ee that isn't laying yet.

I don't have any recent pictures of my Hens. But I can go out and snap some in the morning, as long as it's not raining.

KinderKorner I love your pictures. The roos are fab!

We had a EE roo who added so much to our hatches from brown laying hens. but.. he also really was a meanie and had to go. Thats why we have settled on Barnevelder!

I have a basket of eggs on my page, hard to get true color, but see if there is anything you like...

Hehe yup. EE's especially when they are younger are little stinkers. They have a ton of personality.

I do have mostly pure breeds actually.

Only getting like 3 eggs a day at this point though.

As soon as it dries up, and the birds pick back up. I will have BLRW eggs. The birds are amazing if I do say so myself. I smile everytime I look at them.

White Silkie eggs. Also fab.

I had B/B/S silkies. But lost my blue hen and roo recently. But I'll be getting another roo in the spring to fertilize my hens.

And I also have Buff Bantam Brahmas, Mille Fleur Cochins, Mottled Cochins, Frizzles. But have plans for them. So not sure what I will be selling.

All birds are Breeder or Show stock. I spent lots of money on getting nice birds last fall. Now just waiting for them to pump out the eggs.

I also have RIR, GLW, SLW, Buff Orp, Light Brahmas. Which are just free ranging together for layers.

I am not 100% positive at what I will be selling in a month. Because things do happen and change. But I will for sure be putting auctions up as soon as I get some eggs. I have had great luck and have 100% hatches with anything I set of my own eggs.

I'm super excited. And about to go crazy waiting for them to lay. lol

If your interested in eggs in the spring you can contact me in a few weeks, so I can keep you in mind.

Thanks for the compliment. The rooster does have that basic color. And the hen in the background matches the pattern of a salmon hen as well. Can't wait to pair them up and see what I get.

Sorry for hijacking this thread! I feel bad now. But today was a good day. And now I feel very yappy.
