A few years ago, I got three, 13 week old Turkey poults in mid September. By Thanksgiving they were giants! (I ate one for Thanksgiving, froze one for Xmas, and gave one away to a friend) Best Turkey I ever had. Warning They get to know the guy who brings the water and feed. They come over to you and lean against you. Kinda makes it hard
Hey Dyno, a nice lady contacted me yesterday about your crates. I told her to contact you through your site and if that didn't work, to try here. Pm me and I'll give you her number if she never made it.

That would be Peachick ~~~ you have to get in touch with her and order them. She has somewhere else to be that day and is nice enough to drop off and that someone orders from her since she is headed this way. If you want them you need to PM her. She will get right back with you. NIce looking and very blue eggs you will get if you order any! We'd be glad to have you come out!
Sorry about your loss
Dogs and chickens usually don't mix. A neighbor farmer's dog had a litter of pups and there were two left. We took them. My sister in law named them Plug and Raven. Raven was obvious cause he was pure black. Plug on the other hand, I never could figure out. Anyway, when they were about six months old, one of them, Plug, killed one of my 12 hens. We sent Plug to the pound. We new sweet little Raven would never do anything like that. A couple of weeks later, Raven went on a rampage and killed and maimed the remaining 11. It was dreadful. Raven had to go. I also have had a dog that got along with barnyard foul, so it can go either way. To some dogs the temptation is just too much. Just keep a watchful eye.
