Does anyone have Exchequer Leghorns? If so will you be bringing any to the sale?
I hope to still have some EE's though they seem to be taking a brake.

If anyone is interested in my 4 BCM hens and 1 roo? I will only sell them as a group. They are not quite a year old. I am concentrating my efforts on orps in all colors and sizes and silkies. Due to health issues, I need to make my life a bit easier and I just don't enjoy the BCM's as much and I want to expand my orps and silkies.

Please pm me if interested. All reasonable offers will be considered. I will send pics to those interested.

I am certified to sell eating eggs, and I do sell a lot of them. It is a snap. Call the Dept. of Agriculture in Charleston and ask for the forms, and they will send them to you. It is $10. I have the little cert stuck to my fridge. (It says to post it in your place of business.)

You just fill in the form, easy questions about how many chickens you have and how many eggs you prouduce and what breeds, that sort of thing.

I think they are trying to keep the little farms like me sort of separate from the big guys. I will NEVER get big enough to be written out of small producer.

MsBear--I am coming to the swap if I can. My daughter is having a baby and she has not had it yet!

Anyway--can you explain the NPIP thing to me? Please?

I am in West Virginia. My chickens look healthy to me, but perhaps there is something else I should be doing?
