WWYD? INTFERTILE?? Eggs??

Well, I'll him know...I'm hoping he will at least offer me another dozen for the cost of shipping. The other eggs I received in the mail the same day look good & all but two were developing. One had a blood ring, the other had what looked like two air bubbles in there....so I tossed those.

I paid $15.99 for some and all are clear:( It made me pretty mad as I really really wanted that breed so I left ebay followup feedback saying the eggs were too scrambled to hatch. I don't have money to just throw around.

I don't have money to throw around either. I've decided that I either trade for it, or use money from the "proceeds" of my own hatching or eating eggs selling to buy more eggs...or I just don't get it. Period. So when I splurged on these eggs, I was REALLY hoping they would hatch. If I don't hear back from them today, I'll make a follow-up comment about them being clear...but I already left positive feedback for the eggs being received in good condition.

I don't see anything. They are just completely clear. No dark spots, nothing.

If you didn't see anything, they probably got scrambled during their travels through the postal service. Usually you should at least see a slightly darker spot (the yolk).

I hope it is resolved to your satisfaction. The problem is that NO one can guarantee eggs are fertilized, ever, even with a rooster in with the hens. That guarantee should not have been made like that. The only thing I can guarantee is that there is a rooster mating the hens. He may skip one that he doesn't like over and over again. I have one particular hen who has some sort of genetic problem; her eggs are fertilized, but have never developed for anyone, including myself in my own bator. I have tried several times and she was one in with my Suede, definitely doing his job properly. Obviously, it is a problem with that particular hen. Naturally, I couldnt have known till I became suspicious after person after person never had one of her eggs start developing. Of course, that isn't very common. It is also possible for development to be stalled at the outset, so you never get any veining, even though the egg was fertilized. Still, as someone who on occasion does sell eggs, I usually replace them for shipping cost one time.
