Wwyd - mean pullet

There in Colorado, you have about 2-3 hours till it gets dark and they go to bed. Now would be a good time to throw her in with the big girls. They've already seen each other through the wire, and they have only a few hours of light to "get acquainted", I doubt the could teach her much of a lesson in that little time, so toss her in! :pop

I’m about to give it a go.

If she's used to being around the older batch then she's liable to hold her own. It's worth a try.
I had a little feisty pullet that I kept thinking might be a rooster but no she was a spunky little RI hen. But to this day she will still charge me like a rooster when i don't feed her in a timely manner. She's very bossy with my silkies so I keep them separated. At the time I didn't have the option like you to possibly teach her manners. LOL.

We are about to find out if she is all talk! Haha in with the big girls she goes!

One quick question.
How many square feet of floor space do you have and how many birds total are in there?
As young and small as they are they shouldn't require adult Sq Footage, as long as they aren't cramped. If they are too cramped, that could be why she's been acting the fool.

I would say the space is definitely NOT big enough so you’re totally right. That could be adding to her antics. I think the kennel is 4x8 and I have it split in half. Not ideal but waiting a couple more weeks until they are more feathered to move them out to the coop. Hopefully the big girls will be fine with the cold and out permanently soon and then the littles will have the whole kennel. This pic is from a while ago, but gives an idea of the space.
