Hello,
I have 6 3/4 day old chicks, wyandotte, maran, ee, orpington, cochin and sussex. The wyandotte is bigger than the others and often stands on top of the heat plate and cheeps really loudly.
There is plenty of food and fresh water available and I have adjusted the heat plate so it is slightly higher at one side. She doesn't sound distressed and its not constant, but just wondering if there's something I am missing.
Any help appreciated thanks!

. It’s worse when one is ahead of all the others by a day... they can’t stay in the bator forever so they’re on their own in the brooder screaming bloody murder. Maybe show it the other chicks so it knows it’s not alone.
