I was thinking I might just take a good picture of it every time it gets another week older. So I will post weekly pictures so you guys(or anyone) can see how it feathers in.

If it's a Splash I am hoping it's Really splashy... I love it when they look almost like someone flung dark paint all over them

New picture! And I am already thinking it's a boy. seems like my boys always end up with wonky toes because they get heavy quickly.

What a cute chick! I think I see some splashing on the wing. The toes can be corrected with taping to a stiff circular base (I use plastic circles cut out from margarine tubs). After just a week of wearing booties, they should be straight.

It's definitely a Splash, there is quite a bit of splashing on the wings.

The toes don't look that bad all the time, they're just a little crooked. at the risk of sounding mean, I just don't think it's worth correcting them since he will just do it again later. They just get heavy quickly and when they start jumping around and off of things it messes their toes up. Never seems to cause them any pain though.. really weird since they look broken.
